Built for coexistence

Devario is not positioned as another general-purpose distribution or a universal replacement for every Windows workstation. A business can start with one compatible group—such as a browser-first back-office team, shared workstation pool, or training room—while Windows remains in place for specialized applications, drivers, and peripherals.

That makes adoption a measured operational decision:

1. Qualify a role with strong Linux application and hardware compatibility.
2. Deploy a small Devario cohort beside the existing Windows fleet.
3. Validate login, software delivery, updates, recovery, and support effort.
4. Expand by device group only when the evidence is good.

Development-stage platform

Devario has a bootable operating-system and installer foundation, a Shelly-only package-management boundary, and a Remora development build. Production hardening, release operations, broad hardware validation, and the complete installer-led domain-login and GPO workflow remain in progress.
